The Peaceful Birth Project... Peace on Earth Begins with Birth
"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength." -Barbara Katz Rothman

MISSION
To inspire, inform and support women birthing their Inner Wisdom.
VISION
Envisioning a world where babies are conceived in a conscious loving way, where women birth in their power and surrounded by love, where babies are born gently and mothers are cared for in a way that enables them to be the best moms they can be.
Welcome to The Peaceful Birth Project, a place for people who are passionate about creating peaceful, conscious birthing and parenting experiences. Our lives are filled with moments to practice mindfulness, to be completely present and non-judgmental. In the middle of whatever is going on, if we can stop, breathe and bring presence to the moment as it is, to ourselves as we are, then we can act with wisdom and compassion. Our life IS our practice and we birth the way we live.

Patience After Stalled Labor Advice
“One-third of all first-time cesareans are performed due to active-phase arrest during labor, which contributes to approximately 400,000 surgical births per year,” “In our study, we found that just by being patient, one-third of those women could have avoided the more dangerous and costly surgical approach.”
